Dermatology for Animals is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Goodyear, AZ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for patients with dermatologic needs. Your life-changing work will range from hands-on support with skin treatments, diagnostics and laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant (direct patient care)

• Superior/advanced interpersonal skills

• Has anesthesia experience

• Possesses a positive work attitude

• Self-motivated

• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $17 - $19 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
